Will Maxwell
Manager and Shareholder

Raised in Tutira and back where he belongs. Will started his career as a cadet agent in 2002 and has worked in the industry across Canterbury, Oamaru, Gisborne and Hawke's Bay. One of Redshaw's leading auctioneers, he services the Hawke’s Bay and The East Coast and leads the team as Regional Manager. He knows the country, knows the stock, and knows how to get the best result for his clients.

Dean Freeman
Director and Shareholder

Dean has been in the livestock industry since 1980, starting in Canterbury before making the move to Hawke's Bay in 1988. He's been a familiar face at Stortford Lodge ever since, working across drafting, penning, and auctioneering for sheep and cattle. He joined Redshaw in 2001 and values the team environment that delivers outstanding results for clients.

Ken Simpson
Director and Shareholder

Raised on a Manawatu farm with a father in the livestock industry, Ken's path was set early. He's been a livestock agent since 1984, spent time in Wairoa, and has been based in Hawke's Bay ever since. More than four decades in the industry and every one of them spent putting his clients first. Livestock isn't just Ken's career. It's his life's work.

Scott Heasley
Livestock Agent & Shareholder

Scotty started with a cadetship at Smedley Station, worked as a shepherd in Central Hawke's Bay, and trained in beef and lamb procurement with Wilson Hellaby in Auckland. A stint with Carrfields across Auckland and Northland followed before he returned home to join the Redshaw team in 2015. He brought serious industry knowledge with him and has been putting it to work for Hawke's Bay farmers ever since.

Carol Milligan
Livestock Agent

Carol joined Redshaw in 2016, bringing with her a loyal client base built over the previous decade as an independent agent. She and her husband farm beef, lamb, and feeder calves on their Paki Paki property and have done for 30 years. That hands-on farming background shapes everything she does as an agent. She specialises in the dairy beef industry and works with clients of all sizes, from a handful of animals to large sheep and cattle operations.

Hamish MacDonald
Livestock Agent & Shareholder

Born and raised on a sheep and beef farm in Patoka, Hamish is a Hawke's Bay local through and through. He joined Redshaw in 2019 and is proud to be part of a team he genuinely respects. He's on farm with clients as much as possible and brings a grounded, practical approach to every deal.

Clint Worthington
Livestock Agent

Clint has 18 years of experience in rural sales and nine years as a stock agent, with the last two focused on dry stock alongside a number of key dairy clients. He joined the Redshaw team in 2026 and is based in Pahiatua. He's deeply invested in his clients' farming businesses, not just the transactions, but the goals, timing, and planning behind them.

Keith Burden
Livestock Agent

Keith started his farming career in 1982 as a Federated Farmers cadet and has spent the past 24 years as a sheep, beef, and specialised deer agent. Born and raised in Hawke's Bay, he and his wife Sue have farmed together throughout his career. He knows the land, knows the stock, and brings strong client relationships and a genuine passion for the industry to everything he does.

Philip Webb
Livestock Agent

Philip has more than 40 years of experience in the dairy livestock industry. He's worked as an independent agent, managed calf auctions in Dannevirke, and served as Dairy Coordinator across four regions for NZ Farmers Livestock. Now part of the Redshaw team and based in Taupo, he brings an extensive national network and a deep understanding of dairy livestock to every client relationship.

Brian Nankervis
Livestock Agent

Brian joined Redshaw’s back in August 1985.  Prior to being an agent, he had a strong background in farming.  His judgement and drafting of stock are first class.
